      Note: Sensitive fields such as income, political affiliation, and horoscope details are optional. You are never required to submit them to use the App.
    

3. How We Use Your Information

To maintain an accurate digital census of the Akhil Bhartiye Kasaudhan Vaishya Mahasabha community across India.
To help community organizations plan development programs based on social, educational, and economic data.
To display your matrimonial profile to other verified members of the community for the purpose of finding a suitable match.

      Matrimonial profiles are only visible to other registered and verified members of the Kasaudhan community. Your contact details (mobile/email) are never shown publicly — interested families must connect through the App's in-app messaging.
    

5. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored on secured servers with access controls and encryption.
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS data transmission.
Only authorised administrators have access to the backend database.
We regularly review our security practices to protect community data.
In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your privacy, we will notify affected users promptly.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App's services. If you request deletion of your account:

Your matrimonial profile will be removed from public view immediately.
Census data contributed by you may be retained in anonymised, aggregated form for historical community records.
Personal identifiable data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of a valid deletion request.

7. Children's Privacy

This App is intended for use by adults (18 years and above). Minor children may appear as family members in a parent's census registration, but minors cannot register independently or create a matrimonial profile.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from anyone under the age of 18.

8. Your Rights

As a user, you have the following rights over your data:

Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Correction: Update or correct any inaccurate details in your profile at any time through the App.
Deletion: Request permanent deletion of your account and personal data.
Withdraw Consent: Deactivate your matrimonial profile at any time without deleting your census registration.
Grievance: Raise a complaint if you believe your data has been misused.

Firebase (Google): Push notifications and crash analytics
Google Play Services: App distribution and updates

These services have their own privacy policies. We do not share your census or matrimonial data with any of these third parties beyond what is technically necessary for the service to function.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the App grows. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and notify users through the App.

Your continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
